Krista Pettit is excited to serve her community through One Mission Cambridge! She is an experienced nonprofit Director, having previously served as Executive Director in another organization on the Eastern Shore for over 20 years. She deeply desires to show the love of Jesus to all who enter the doors of the mission center through practical means and prayer. Krista's passion is encouraging all Christian Churches to serve together.
Krista is married to Chris Pettit, a United Methodist Church Pastor, and serves alongside him through church activities. They both enjoy hiking and camping outdoors and spending quality time with her two grown children.
I consider it a privilege and honor to serve as manager here at One Mission Cambridge. I have a passion for service and working in the community to spread the message of God’s love and compassion. The emphasis on providing one on one experience to help someone connect to a service or resource brings me joy and excitement.
Coming from a dark place in my past, I empathize with those I seek to serve as I have been down the very same path. Through the grace and mercy of Jesus Christ someone was there to help and show me the way.
It is my privilege to serve as I realize that without the help of others I would be lost. I believe this is what life is all about: Sharing with others the many blessings that God has given us.
